Sick of superhero movies? That’s only because you haven’t seen a really good one lately. This is a good one.
Recent college grad Jaime Reyes returns home full of aspirations for his future, only to find that home is not quite as he left it. As he searches to find his purpose in the world, fate intervenes when Jaime unexpectedly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology: the Scarab.

Gran Turismo
An implausible but somehow (mostly) true story about a video game player, or “gamer”, who accidentally develops a skill that has value in the real, non-digital world. This is proven when the boy, who favours racing simulator game Gran Turismo, participates in a publicity stunt designed to give the game an air of legitimacy, and he ends up doing quite well inside a car not made of pixels. It’s the dream of little gamers everywhere, something they can point to besides “hand-eye coordination” when their mothers tell them to turn off the PlayStation and stop wasting their lives. This movie proves that if they only game hard enough, they will become rich and famous and the subject of major motion pictures.
